Found this gem in Malnad, Karnataka . Large with each brinjal weighing 0.5 kg, and succulent fruit with a distinctive purple brownish colour  stripes.  Great for stuffed brinjal preparations.  This variety is fast facing extinction and needs to be revived.  Excellent for pot cultivation.
